Today I read on Flikr, the excellant photo hosting site, that their new community guidelines are forbidding the posting of graphics for web sites and blogs. Which is exactly what I’m doing. Not on any big scale or anything, since I’ve only been blogging for a couple of months now and most of the pictures I’m posting are photos I’ve taken myself.
However, I expect Flikr to start enforcing these guidelines. To be honest, I’m not surprised; I paid nothing for my account (although I am really considering buying a Pro account soon, after we move) so to expect free web hosting for graphics is probably a bit much. Anyway, just a heads up in case you see all the graphics removed from my blog. I’d hope Flickr would have the decencey to send out an e-mail to say “remove the graphics” or words to that effect and let my keep my account if I did.
Anyway whilst I can, here’s to blurry photos I took a while back on my phone, the first is at the Goldfrapp gig in November at the Academey and the other’s me drinking in the dark. And not out of a bottle in a brown paper bag which is a change.
